Anywhere Gains builds workouts from the equipment you have. You can use it without an account. This page explains what we store, why, and how to have it deleted.
Using the app without an account
Building a workout sends nothing about you to our server. Your browser keeps a short list of recently shown exercises (so "Build another" doesn't repeat itself) and a copy of the site's files for offline use. Both stay on your device.
If you create an account
- Email and password: we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store or see your actual password.
- Continue with Google: Google shares your email address, name and a Google account ID with us. We store only your email and the account ID, to recognize you next time. We never receive your Google password.
- Saved workouts: when you press "Save this workout", we store the equipment, goal, duration and exercise list, linked to your account.
- Login cookie: a single cookie keeps you logged in. It's needed for the account to work and isn't used for tracking.
Feature suggestions
If you send a suggestion, we store your message and, if you give one, your email address, so we can tell you when it ships. If you're logged in, the suggestion is linked to your account email.
What we don't do
- No ads and no advertising trackers.
- No analytics or tracking scripts.
- We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
Services we rely on
- Railway hosts the app and its database.
- Cloudflare provides the domain and secure connection.
- Google handles "Continue with Google" if you choose it, and serves the site's font (Google Fonts). Like any website you load, these services see your IP address.
Deleting your data
To delete your account, saved workouts and any suggestions linked to you, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We'll delete everything within 30 days and confirm by email.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
